Introduction
Prinssi is a promise of urban music.
The talented and determined artist mixes Latin, Brazilian Funk, Pop, Hip Hop and RnB in his music with a flavour of romance and spice.
The productive artist describes his music with the term “Mainstreet”.
Prinssis words:
“My goal is to create music that touches the listeners mind, body and soul. I’ve been surrounded by music since my birth. My mother is a professional violinist and my father Ricky Ivybez is one of Reggae musics pioneers in Brazil. Going to my mothers violin classes or to studios and stages with my father has really had an impact on my musical development and singing. I am very attentive about my voice and it’s sound, and I want to bring new and innovative stuff to the table.”
After playing classical piano at Helsinki Conservatory since he was 6 as a teenager Prinssi switched to Pop- & Jazz- conservatory. Over time he started composing his own rap- and RnB songs and went on to producing them aswell. Since leaving Pop- & Jazz- conservatory, Prinssi has released 12 singles.
