Kaikuva Kulkue is an ensemble of five skilled musicians from the Helsinki metropolitan area, which brings together the best elements of traditional Roma music, Finnish folk music and old popular songs. The soloist is Timi Järvivuori, whose charismatic voice and strong performance bring the music to life.
The band's music is influenced by the deep roots of Romani culture, but at the same time it looks to the future - creating its own recognizable sound, which we call RomanoSoul. This unique combination of soulful expression and the rich tradition of Romani music creates music that touches and combines the rhythms and melodies of different cultures. Kaikuva Kulkue doesn't just perform music - it takes its listeners on a journey to the passion, joy and sadness of Romani music, while creating a bridge between tradition and the present day.
